Lag Shield Anchors
A tapered, split metal sleeve set into a drilled hole that expands as a lag screw is driven into it. The split sleeve grips the sides of the hole to anchor the screw.
Used to secure lag screws into concrete, brick, and block for medium-duty fixing. Bought by contractors for attaching fixtures and framing to masonry.
