What comes with your order

Every order from us ships with the same three items: a material test report (MTR) for the raw material, pre-shipment photos of the finished parts, and the packing list with carton markings. Nothing about the material or the shipment is left to guesswork. This page explains what each item is and why we send it, so you can hand the paperwork straight to your own purchasing or engineering team.

The list is deliberately short. We do not pad orders with reports that restate the drawing; we send the material certificate that proves the raw material grade, and photos that show what was actually boxed. For how the parts are made, see our factory and equipment list.

Your material test report (MTR)

The material test report is the record of the raw material we machine for your order. It states the alloy — for example stainless steel 303, 304 or 316L, aluminium 6061 or 7075, carbon or alloy steel, or brass or copper — so you can confirm the grade matches your drawing before the parts are put to use. This matters most where the alloy affects strength, corrosion or heat behavior, or where your own material specification must stay traceable through your incoming records.

We supply the MTR with every order, from a 50-piece pilot to a full production run. Keep it alongside your order records: it is the document that ties a batch of parts to a specific raw material heat or lot. If your own system requires a material to match a specific grade or standard, the MTR is the record you attach to prove it — which is why we send it automatically rather than on request.

Pre-shipment photos, before anything leaves

Before a shipment is closed, we photograph the finished parts — laid out and, where useful, close up on the features that matter — and send the photos to you. The purpose is simple: you see the parts before they leave the factory, so you can confirm quantities, finish and general condition without waiting for the box to arrive.

Photos are not a substitute for the drawing, but they catch the kind of mismatch that is cheaper to fix before dispatch than after. If something looks off in a photo, we correct it on the floor before the courier collects the box. This, together with the DFM feedback we return at the quote stage, is how a small order is kept from becoming a big correction. Photos also help on multi-line orders: instead of reading carton labels one by one, you can see at a glance that every part number in the packing list has a matching batch in the shot.

Packing list and carton markings

Alongside the MTR and the photos, you receive the packing list and the carton markings before dispatch. The packing list states part name, quantity and the carton breakdown; the markings identify each carton so your warehouse can route boxes without opening them. For mixed orders of several part numbers, this is the document your receiving team checks first, because it maps each item to its carton. It dovetails with our packaging and shipping approach: clean, counted, labeled and photographed before the parts move.
