Part block
Custom fasteners: screws, bolts, nuts and studs
Fasteners are the parts a drawing leaves to the last page and the factory quote hides in the price. This block is the whole family — screws, bolts, nuts, studs, washers, rivets and threaded inserts — with the ranges we actually cut, the materials we actually stock, and the tolerance each class holds.
What we make in this block

Questions
What is the smallest fastener you can machine?
M1.6 in stainless and brass, and M2 in titanium. Below M1.6 the thread is smaller than the tool nose radius and the part becomes a grinding job rather than a turning job.
Do you roll or cut the thread?
Thread rolling above 20,000 pieces, because it is faster and stronger. Below that we single-point or die-cut, which is what makes 100-piece runs economic.
What thread class do you hold?
6g for external and 6H for internal metric threads as standard; 4g6g and 5H6H when the drawing calls for it. Inch threads hold 2A and 2B.
Can you supply fasteners with a material certificate?
Yes — every order ships with the mill certificate (MTR) for the heat number used, plus pre-shipment photographs of the actual parts.
What drives the price of a custom screw?
Three things in order: head style (a tamper-resistant head needs a second operation), thread length (full thread versus partial), and tolerance class. Material is usually the smallest of the three.
