Box Nails
Box nails are round wire nails with a thinner shank than common nails of the same length, which reduces splitting when driven close to board edges. They carry a flat head and a diamond point.
Used in light framing, siding, and general wood construction where common nails would split thin stock. Bought by carpenters, framing contractors, and timber product manufacturers.
