Conical Washers
A conical washer is a dished spring washer that flattens slightly under load and keeps tension on a bolted joint as it settles or vibrates. Its cone shape gives a known spring force.
Used to maintain clamp load on bolted connections subject to vibration, thermal cycling and creep. Bought by automotive, machine and power-equipment builders.
