Dock Washers
A dock washer, or round plate washer, is a large-diameter flat washer that spreads the load of a bolt over a wide area of timber or soft material. Its oversize outside diameter stops the head from pulling through.
Used on docks, timber structures, piers and heavy brackets where the bearing area must be enlarged. Bought by marine, timber and general contractors.
