Ball Head Screws
A ball head screw has a rounded, dome-like head that presents a smooth, low-profile surface with no sharp edges. The head carries an internal drive, usually hex socket or cross recess, and the shank takes a machine or wood thread.
It is used where a decorative or snag-free head is needed on furniture, cabinets, jigs and light fixtures. Furniture makers and appliance assemblers choose it when the fastener stays visible.
