Thread Rolling Screws
A thread rolling screw displaces material to form its mating thread in a pre-drilled hole without cutting, leaving a work-hardened thread and no chips. The trilobular or lobed point reduces friction during forming.
It fastens ductile metals and light castings where a chip-free, tight thread is needed. Automotive and electronics assemblers use it for high-volume, clean assembly.
